Camouflage
My friend Nicole asked me to make a Camouflage pull apart cupcakes cake for her son Paintball birthday party. So delighted with the challenge, for once I’m not stuck to certain image to draw on the cupcakes cake. Really enjoyed the whole process mixing all the buttercream with different shades of colours too, so much FUN!
Nicole sent me below text message later on:
Cupcake cake was so cool! Now you can add camouflage to your repertoire 😉

Strawberry Shortcake!
Introducing our cupcake of the month for February 2015, my take on the famous tea cake, vanilla cupcake with strawberry filling and buttercream frosting. The cupcake is light, the filling is tangy (made fresh from scratch by yours truly) and perfect with the soft buttercream icing. I enjoyed it with a cuppa while watching the Oscar on the telly earlier today, LOVE it!
My daughter had it for tea after school with extra sliced of fresh strawberries, absolute delish!

Meet Cony and Brown, they both wishing you Happy Chinese New Year, may the year of the Ram bring us lot’s of good fortune and prosperity, Gong Xi Fa Cai!
When we were living in Shanghai I used to ask my daughter (7 years old then) to write in Chinese character for some random things around the house, I was fascinated on how fast she get a hang of it, she was reading & singing fluently in Mandarin too! So when Charlene asked me to draw these 2 characters holding the hong bao (red envelope) with the Chinese character on the pull apart cupcakes cake I was thrilled, it feels somewhat familiar and I know I can pull it off.

Flowers & Pink Piggy
These cupcakes are travelling to Singapore today, a very special ones for Vivi’s 8th birthday celebration. Her Mum told me that she loves pink flowers, pink ribbon and pink piggy (she’s born in the year of Pig in Chinese zodiac). I baked Nutella filled chocolate cupcakes and did the topper as per her request, packed them in secure cupcake boxes and off they go.

My friend Khin asked me to do a swim-bike-run cupcakes cake theme for her son birthday party, he’s an Ironkids champion. I made chocolate cupcake with buttercream frosting and did the Ironkids logo with a swim bike run image.
