On the last weekend of my daughter school midterm break we went to Subic Bay (around 3 hours drive from Manila) to a place called Anvaya Cove. It was an overcast day with a possibility typhoon mentioned in the local weather forecast but we decided to go ahead with our little getaway plan. So happy we follow our gut feeling, it turns out to be an awesome day. I’ve got several great shot from the highway with my iPhone (my favourite one is the image above), my daughter race the 8th Invitational Anvaya Cove Triathlon in age group 9-10 and won the 1st place in her category! Such a sweet ending to the break and on top of that she’s got to play with her BFF over the weekend ( chasing waves in the ocean and roasted marshmallow after dinner was a big hit). The next day my better half triathlon race were not cancelled but the organizer decided to omit the swim and bike part so he ends up doing the running race part only. Lucky for us he did couple of loops passing our villa so we’re able to cheer for him.
Cut the story short, we all had a blast, can’t wait to go back to beach again, enjoy the photos.
