Made my very first Christmas Tree pull apart cupcakes cake for our Annual Christmas dinner party this evening. My daughter loved it, she said I should make it every Christmas from now on and I think she’s right, making mental note here for the next year to do list.
Since we arrived in Manila couple years back, we’ve invented this lovely traditions of white elephant christmas party for my better half and his company managers, upon popular requests dinner is always a mixed selection of Indonesian food (oxtail soup, beef rendang, pulled pork ribs, jukut be guling, etc), its a nice excuse for me to cook up a storm ❤
It is a game about placing blocks to build anything you can imagine (my daughter installed it on my mobile phone in-case she forgot to bring her iPad but honestly I haven’t take a peek on it). Nevertheless these Minecraft cupcakes theme were Maggie’s request for her son 7th birthday party, an image of the character Steve on pull apart cupcakes cake and Creeper face on mini cupcake.
Happy birthday Hong!
Our tree is up, got fresh Poinsettia from the Farmer’s Market and
home made chocolate cupcakes for tea.
Surely it’s Christmas once more ❤
The beginning of the festive month were marked with a new cupcake flavour by yours truly. After tweaking the recipe a couple of times I am very happy with the result. Introducing our December flavour of the month: Orange, Cranberry and Raisins cupcake with buttercream frosting. It is very fragrant (thanks to the orange zest) and moist but not too sweet hence the buttercream just making it a perfect combo. Cut the story short, we LOVED it!
If you are in Manila, you know where to place an order.
