This week is School Midterm Break for my 10 years old daughter, she’s asking if we could bake pink cupcakes “inside and outside” I told her that instead of using colourings for the cupcake batter we could just add pink sprinkles. So that’s what we did on a first day of the school break, we’ve baked Vanilla cupcakes, filled it with pink sprinkles, once it’s baked and cooled off we add buttercream frosting and more pink sprinkles, isn’t it pretty?
Weekend gathering is my favourite time of the week, in my opinion, nothing beat edible centrepieces for the table. If you are looking for unusual ideas for your next party there are plenty of ideas in the world wide web. Be creative is the key, use fresh fruits that is in seasons, mixed low and tall fresh flowers, and last but not least is to display your dessert. My favourite thing to do (obviously) is freshly baked cupcakes on a pretty glass serving plate preferably with a lid.
My daughter knows that once I’ve got the dessert on the table, dinner is nearly served.
Enjoy your weekend everyone!
I’ve got a new cupcakes box from my local packaging supplier, loving the colour combination and the swirl pattern on it so much hence I decided to make matching cupcakes to go with it!
It’s a HIT, everyone that received the Tiffany Blue & Dark chocolate cupcakes were giving me thumbs up, one happy baker here ❤
After spending 5 days supporting my daughter in a swimming competition at British International School Phuket, Thailand I’m finally back to my baking studio. There were 17 International Schools, 5 Countries and 450 Swimmers competing in the 3 days back to back FOBISIA swimming race, it was really tough and very competitive but my daughter and I had a great time thanks to British School Manila Community. We even won the Best Team Spirit Award!
As promised during the competition days in Phuket, now that I’m back in Manila I made confetti cupcakes for my daughter relay team members, they earned it!
Congratulations BSM Lions, we are very proud of you!
