Thank goodness for long weekend!
August 29 is National Heroes Day Holiday here in the Philippines, we’ve taken full advantage of it by staying put in Manila and just chillin’ in between my daughter sports training.
Decided to bake gluten free chocolate cupcakes which always a big hit in my family. Nothing beat warm chocolate cupcake, especially the gluten free ones (when they’re warm and freshly baked) thanks to ground almonds and quinoa flour that just give the most wonderful taste and aroma when mixed with dark chocolate. Once cooled off I frosted it with dark chocolate ganache and these edible roses treat are ready to party!
With a little bit of magic in every bite …
Fancy Nancy inspired cupcakes,
Happy 7th birthday Orla
Had a blast mixing colours for these buttercream flower buds, LOVE it!
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Three great ways YOU can eliminate waste and protect your environment!
Waste, and how we choose to handle it, affects our world’s environment—that’s YOUR environment. The environment is everything around you including the air, water, land, plants, and man-made things.
Practicing all three of these activities every day is not only important for a healthy environment, but it can also be fun too.
PS. Pull apart cupcakes cake with 3 R’s logo for Iliana’s 10th birthday celebration,
by yours truly.
We’ve survived first week of school with no drama, Little Miss dive into her daily school routine and loving it. I must admit I do miss having her around, she was a cheerful companion around the house and during our travels. To lessen the separation anxiety I’ve been baking ever since, her favourite baked goodies after school is Madeleine and she preferred it warm and crunchy on the edges, absolute YUMMM!
These were my second batch of the week, made banana chocolate chips madeleine prior these ones. Anyway, gotta go now, school pick up!
What a fun idea, Lego Friends dressed up party! Andrea’s mum got the girls all dolled-up at a photo studio to celebrate Andrea’s birthday, love it!
I’ve made Lego Friends colours combination cupcakes for the birthday girl, pink and purple goes well with everything isn’t it?
Happy 5th birthday Andrea darling xoxo
Arrived in overcast Manila safe and sound, it’s been drizzling on and off since we’re home. Unpacked all our bags and getting ready for our daily routine kicking in. Back to my baking studio today, thawed some frozen berries from the freezer this morning and start baking, mixed berries cupcakes with buttercream frosting is in the agenda, requested by Little Miss. We’ve enjoyed these berries fresh on our vacation days in North America and we love them in baked goods too here in South East Asia, home sweet home.
Enjoy your weekend everyone ❤
Summer in beautiful British Columbia is magical ❤️
We stayed out enjoying the warm weather, beautiful surroundings and delicious food all day ( thanks to Mr Golden Sun it’s daylight till 9 pm!). Loving our family time and being active together, one thing that we missed a lot in Manila.
If you never been to this part of the world please plan your trip soon, highly recommend it.
