Merry Christmas to you and yours ❤️
Monthly Archives: December 2016
Dear Santa
My daughter is very excited, she’s been extremely good this year and Christmas morning will definitely be joyful, good night universe.
Season of Giving
Mactan
My parents-in-law are currently visiting us here in Manila, all the way from Vancouver. They’ve got to see my daughter year group Christmas production in school (it’s really amazing, we’re all very impressed!). They watched my daughter attending her gymnastics training and swimming training. We took them for a bike tour with Bamboo bike in Intramuros ( Bambike PH, a must try, you’ll learn a lot about Philippines history in less than 3 hours, highly recommend it). Last but not least we went for a long weekend getaway to Mactan, Cebu. We all had a blast enjoying the Sea, Sand and Sun.
Back in Manila now, I made Alfajores from scratch for today’s tea, YUM!
Christmas Soiree 2016
11
It’s a triple celebration! Rico, Renzo and Dylan had joined birthday party, as per one of the celebrant mum requested I made a number 11 pull apart cupcakes cake and 3 individual chocolate cake. My daughter had a blast at their party, it started with Bowling game then Japanese lunch followed by Cupcakes & Cake then Archery followed by ice cream, oh to be 11 years old again!
The Calm Before The Storm
Good morning from my part of the world, I’m about to dash out of the door to do my errands plus an extra trip to get my baking supplies, yes the baking frenzy will start from today onwards. I love the season of giving, each year I baked different goodies to send to our friends and family, definitely watch out this space!
Since my better half left an hour ago to do his workout, my daughter is officially on Christmas break and now at gymnastics training, I’m gonna have my 10 minutes of calm with freshly baked Madeleine, chocolate sauce and coffee before heading out, namaste.
Year 6 Christmas
It’s the end of school first term!
My fellow Class Mums and I did it again, we give the children the best Christmas party in the Primary just like last year. Lunch menu were consists of roast beef, glazed ham, turkey and the trimmings, full buffet service and baked goodies by yours truly. I baked 72 mini cupcakes and 100 sugar cookies (vanilla & chocolate), seeing the children happy face really worth it.
Merry Christmas everyone, see you in Term 2 next year ❤
Star Wars
Periwinkle
Trying new colour on our annual xmas cookies icing sugar today. My daughter current favourite colour is periwinkle (it’s a mixed of blue and purple). I’ve added a few drops of each on the royal icing and voila, a lovely shade of light blue as a result, she approved!
