My friend Yannie asked me to bake mini cupcakes for her son’s class substitute teacher to thank her on her last day teaching the class. When I found out that Ewan’s class called Superstar Butterfly I know exactly what I want to decorate the cupcakes with.
Below is the text I received from Yannie after the party :

Esti the kids went crazy for your cupcakes! Miss Anny was so surprised and happy. The Japanese mums commented that they were the best they have tasted in Manila so far – not oily not sugary. Thank you so much!
One happy baker here 🙂
My daughter used to read Fancy Nancy the book endlessly when she was 6 years old, I was all ears when she talked about her plans to move to Paris when she’s older to open up a bakery! I asked her if I could go with her, she said that I could come and visit anytime. Now couple years later her future plan shifted, to swim in the Olympics is in her agenda. When Sarah ordered these cupcakes for her daughter I was delighted, it brings back sweet memory, the conversations I had with my daughter, the fancy words, the dress up (Fancy Nancy wears tiara and fancy dresses!), love it!
Happy birthday Lola xoxo
Congratulations Tinine and Greg!
*Chocolate cupcakes with dulce de leche filling, buttercream frosting and cut out sugar fondant
Our family love caramel on everything! Trio treat from top to bottom : Caramel flan, Chocolate cupcake with dulce de leche filling and buttercream frosting, Alfajores (eggless caramel cookie with dulce de leche & dusted with confectioner sugar).
Needless to say I’ve been baking up a storm this weekend.
Have a great Sunday everyone!
My friends and I organized a small baby shower for Yannie today, she’s due in couple more weeks with her second child. I made vanilla cupcakes with buttercream frosting and cut out sugar fondant, we had bubbly to wash it down after a nice spa treatment, such a lovely afternoon with the ladies while kiddos spending time in the pool with their Daddy.
Good luck Yannie and Dominic, all the best.
Maria and her family just arrived in Shanghai 2 weeks ago and she found out about my cupcakes through one of the school Mom. My daughter and Josefina are in the same grade at BISS Pudong but different class. As per her mother request I made 36 mini vanilla cupcakes in pink and purple for her to bring to school, I love pink and purple color combination, had a great time decorating these ones.
Feliz cumpleanos, Josefina.
48 cupcakes in 4 different flavors (Oreo, Chocolate, Vanilla & Strawberry), Princess theme in pink and purple color dominant for Alexa’s 4th birthday celebration today. There were 37 cupcakes in tiers and the rest are packed for party favors.
Isn’t she adorable !!!
My first Golf Theme cupcakes (^_^)
These are made for Rena as a gift for her brother, Arwin, a Golf lover.
Took me 3 days to really put my thinking caps on, half a day to bake and decorating it.
Its all edible (grass were buttercream, golf ball & tee were made from fondant) and I’m so glad everybody loves it (including my darling hubby).
Below is how they all look in Wilton 23 cupcakes stand.
