Olivia

Such a sweet and caring girl, on her birthday she wished to spent it with the children in the Orphanage (that she visited a few times previously)  with some cupcakes. I told her Mum that I will match her cupcakes order for free, she requested 70 pcs of cupcakes and I made 144 pcs.

Yes, correct … thats 12 dozens of cupcakes! Consists of 4 dozens Vanilla cupcakes, 4 dozens Oreo Cupcakes and 4 dozens Chocolate cupcakes. I spent over 18 hours of baking, decorating and packing them, it was pretty intense!

Esti, your cupcakes are absolutely beautiful. I dropped Olivia, Katie, Emily and the cupcakes off at 10am, they were supposed to leave at 2pm, but they are having such a wonderful time they asked to stay longer. They are only leaving at 5pm now. The kids at SOS Children’s Village were soooo excited to see all the cupcakes, they loved them. I took pizza there for them all at lunchtime, so they have had a lovely party. Thank you so so much for making the cupcakes and for generously donating half. You really are a truly special, thoughtful  lady. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. xx

One happy cupcake lady here, Happy 14th Birthday Olivia ❤

I’ve donated these yummy chocolate cupcakes to Wish the event for their bake sale table at British School Manila earlier this evening, all proceeds will go to Aeisha fund and PCF.  Little Aiesha was diagnosed with a brain tumour, it’s currently Grade 1 pre-cancerous but its already affecting Aeisha’s eyesight so there is an urgency to get little Aeisha the treatment. Should you wish to help you can go to here http://www.gofundme.com/Aeisha.

We went to the event with some friends and had a great Sunday evening watching the performances and catching up with friends, big kudos to the organizers and I’m happy to be a small part of it.

Pink Ribbon at British Women Association Lunch

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month each October, people raise money by organizing activities such as theme parties or a “pink day”. The money raised is donated to the organizers’ choice of breast cancer care or research programs.

This year I’m honored to be able to participate in British Woman Association charity lunch held in BWA House in Jakarta, thanks to Phyllis Hatful, the British ambassador wife for Jakarta whom also belong to my Indonesia Heritage Society group. It was a very well organized “Pink Lunch” with all proceed goes to Jakarta Breast Cancer Research Program.

PS. The pink ribbon is an international symbol of breast cancer awareness. I baked fresh strawberry cupcakes with buttercream frosting to match the theme, they were deliciously lovely.
