Freshly baked banana and chocolate chips Madeleine for our early morning flight to Bangkok. Little Miss will be competing at FOBISIA Gymnastics 2017 in WAG level 5 this weekend in Harrow International School. Krungthep Mahanakhon here we come!
New book to read, home made madeleines and coffee,
a perfect start.
We’ve survived first week of school with no drama, Little Miss dive into her daily school routine and loving it. I must admit I do miss having her around, she was a cheerful companion around the house and during our travels. To lessen the separation anxiety I’ve been baking ever since, her favourite baked goodies after school is Madeleine and she preferred it warm and crunchy on the edges, absolute YUMMM!
These were my second batch of the week, made banana chocolate chips madeleine prior these ones. Anyway, gotta go now, school pick up!
These scalloped shape little cake is a perfect accompaniment to well deserved afternoon cup of tea (or coffee). Browned and crispy on the outside and soft and spongy on the inside, they are at its best when eaten freshly baked (out of the oven, cooled until barely warm, served). I’ve baked so many of them I’ve lost count by now, absolutely delicious ❤
If you are in Manila, you can get these Madeleines freshly baked from yours truly, flavours to choose; the classic Vanilla, Chocolate or Lemon.

Buttery French tea cake baked in scallop-shaped Madeleine moulds is my daughter favourite for after school snacks. This week she’s been away for 3 days camping trip with her School year group so I baked chocolate madeleines and banana madeleines prior picking her up today. She has the biggest smile in her face when I saw her waving her hands from the bus window upon arrival, all the parents were getting extra long hugs from the returning students including me, JOY!
Welcome back Little Miss, we miss you ❤
