I’ve made mini jackfruit (nangka/langka) cupcakes for the Indonesian ladies in Manila gathering today. I always love the unique texture of this exotic fruit, once it’s baked/cooked it became soft and very fragrance. Such a big hit in our luncheon, it was gone in less than half an hour, love it!
I’ve made these special edible “flowers” for my dear friend birthday celebration today. As you know I love creating flower topper with buttercream on cupcakes, these ones in particular were very challenging since they were mini in size. Also my first time making Gypsophilia (baby breath), LOVE it!
Happy birthday Nicole xoxo
PS. We took her out for Thai lunch in Makati, I was very happy to have a fair share of Mango sticky rice 🙂
Yannie asked me to bake cupcakes for her husband birthday party, he’s a cyclist so naturally she wants me to do the decoration involving bicycle. I happen to have a stash of cyclists cupcake topper, bought it last year in one of the baking supplies shop overseas since my husband is a triathlete I need to have one of these handy. The moment Yannie told me about the bicycle theme cupcake I know exactly what I want to do! Since I’m decorating for mini cupcakes it’s a perfect size to do a bike race theme. I made the race track, some grass topper, add tiny flowers and voila … we’ve got bike race going on! It looks even better when all the candles lit up, LOVE it !
Happy birthday Dominic.
What is tiny, pink, cute and delicious?
Mini vanilla cupcakes with buttercream frosting of course.
I had so much fun creating these baby theme cupcakes for Yessi’s daughter. Made baby booties, onesies, tiaras, tiny flowers and baby stroller (my personal favourite!) as a topper, they are super tiny in size.
Congratulations for the arrival of baby Jennifer to Yessi and Christopher, have a great celebration.
Once a month for the last 1 year and a little bit I’ve been attending the Indonesian Ladies luncheon here in Manila. Its a great way to meet new friends and a chance to speak in our mother tongue. The host normally consists of 4 persons and we all take turn to prepare the lunch spread. Unfortunately today gathering was slightly unusual, we bid farewell to several ladies whom leaving the Philippines to a new destination hence I’ve made mini chocolate cupcakes with buttercream frosting in pale pink and white color combination with some words on it (farewell is sampai jumpa in Indonesian). We all had a great time, can you spot me among my fellow Indonesians?
Safe travels ladies, till we meet again.
