Happy 4th
Happy 4th of July!
It’s also my daughter BFF birthday so I’m sticking to Red, White and Blue colour combination for her 8th birthday cupcakes. Every year we have a small tradition to celebrate Joni’s special day with a private tea party in our place, this year both girls were into piano and belly dancing so I got to enjoy both performances and laughters. By the way, I love using magic candles on birthday cupcakes, after endless huffing and puffing the girls finally can enjoy their cupcake ❤

Flowers & Pink Piggy
These cupcakes are travelling to Singapore today, a very special ones for Vivi’s 8th birthday celebration. Her Mum told me that she loves pink flowers, pink ribbon and pink piggy (she’s born in the year of Pig in Chinese zodiac). I baked Nutella filled chocolate cupcakes and did the topper as per her request, packed them in secure cupcake boxes and off they go.

Pretty in Purple
Oreo cupcakes with buttercream frosting and cut out sugar fondant, Vivi’s order. Obviously purple is birthday girl favourite colour. I’m using metallic purple cupcake liner too, FUN!

R2-D2
Artoo-Detoo (often referred to as Artoo), is a robot character in the Star Wars universe. He’s an R2-series astromech droid manufactured by Industrial Automaton prior to 32 BBY. R2-D2 is a major character in all Star Wars films along with his protocol droid companion C-3PO, he joins Anakin Skywalker, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Obi-Wan Kenobi in various points in the saga. I remembered vividly when I watched the whole Trilogy back to back in Jakarta, it felt like eon years ago *grin* and here I am now in Manila creating R2-D2 image on pull apart cupcakes cake ordered by Zoe, loved it.

Rainbow Loom Cupcake
These are red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting with Rainbow Loom theme, Joanne’s order for her daughter 8th birthday party.
My daughter and her friends are currently in looming fever, they are constantly creating fashion accessory. Rainbow Loom is a plastic toy loom that children can used to weave colorful rubber bands into bracelets, charms and other jewelry. I’ve got some unique bracelets with cupcake charm on it, thanks to our Little Miss. If your child haven’t tried Rainbow Loom yet look it up in toy store nearby you and join the craze.

Sponge Bob Party
It’s William’s 8th birthday party today and he asked for Sponge Bob theme cupcakes. His mom sent me the image of Sponge Bob with Electric Guitar, pretty intricate drawing to do on a cake but it was worth every minute. All the children were pulling the cupcake cake with big smile on their face, one very happy baker here, enjoy the photos.
